It is with great sadness that we have received the message that we feared, says Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) to NTB.
– My thoughts go to those who have lost a loved one, says the Prime Minister.
On Friday afternoon, nine people are still missing, including women, men and children.
– The rescue operation continues, and I also think of all those who live with the uncertainty of how things are going with those who are missing, says Solberg.

The church is open
The Gjerdrum church is open from 10 am to 10 pm during the New Years weekend. The church guardian, Dagrun Agnete Ødegaard, reports to VG.
– There are candles lit here and a good place to come, says Ødegaard. In the church there are priests, other church employees and volunteers.
– There have not been many, but there are some here now, says Ødegaard, who believes that the need to visit the church will increase as the seriousness diminishes.
– We invite silence, candle lighting, fellowship and offers of conversation, says Ødegaard.
