This means that the trend of high infection rates continues, but the number has decreased somewhat since the last registration, when there were 83 infected.
Of the new infected are:
- Under 10 years: 1 person
- 10 years – 6 people
- 20s – 8 people
- 30s – 5 people
- 40s – 7 people
- 50s – 5 people
- 60 – 3 people
- 70s – 5 people
- 90 – 1 person
– Infection tracking is ongoing for most people. Therefore, it is currently not possible to say anything about whether they have a known source of infection or not. It will be mapped during the day, it says in the press release.
All have been notified by the Office of Infection Control of the test result and have been isolated.
– Serious situation
On Wednesday, 83 Trondheimers tested positive for the crown. Next, 1,554 people were analyzed.
It was a new infection record, in a week in which high infection rates are recorded daily.
– The situation now is very serious. More serious than ever, said City Manager Wolden at a special meeting of the presidency on New Year’s Eve.
Trondheim Municipality asks residents to limit social activity and the number of close contacts, as there is a lot of infection in the community.
