– 8 of the 83 who tested positive yesterday were tested in relation to them coming from red abroad. So 75 were tested in Trondheim, while the others were tested in Værnes, he explained.

59 infected by known close contacts
On Wednesday, 1,554 tests were conducted in Trondheim. 83 were, therefore, positive.
59 of them are infected by known close contacts. 16 of them so far have not clarified the source of infection, while 8 people have been infected abroad in red, the municipality of Trondheim writes in a press release.
Among those infected, the age composition is as follows:
- People under 10 years: 8
- People in their 10: 8
- People aged 20 to 25
- People in their 30s: 13
- 40-year-olds: 10
- 50-year-olds: 9
- 60-year-olds: 3
- 70-year-olds: 4
- 80-year-olds: 3
Everyone has a mild course of the disease, states the municipality of Trondheim.
Schools affected
Several schools are affected by the contagion cases this Wednesday, says the municipality.
The schools will send continuous messages in the report book about the situation in the different schools. Eventually, the infection control office will receive a direct notification to those affected on how they must deal with, among other things, the quarantine of the states of the municipality of Trondheim.
“It is important that those who are not diagnosed by Helsenorge with an infection isolate themselves. The infection control office contacts all those infected as soon as possible,” the municipality writes.
