Trump Takes Wisconsin Election To Supreme Court – NRK Urix – Foreign News & Documentaries

First, President Donald Trump’s campaign wants the Supreme Court to overturn a court decision in which the Wisconsin State Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit against the outcome of the elections in the state.

Joe Biden received 21,000 more votes in Wisconsin than Trump. The president’s supporters will change the outcome by rejecting 220,000 preliminary votes in the two most democratically dominated counties in the state.

The basic premise is that voters did not correctly ask for ballots to be mailed to them. Trump supporters demanded that both mail-in votes and advance votes, which were given in person, be rejected.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court dismissed the lawsuit on December 14. The court wants the federal Supreme Court in Washington to disapprove of this ruling.

You have lost more than 50 lawsuits

Trump and his allies have lost at least 50 lawsuits against the elections in Wisconsin and other states. Trump’s lawyers have not provided documentation on what they say was an election marked by cheating, including with “illegal postal votes.”

Before Christmas, the Supreme Court rejected a similar attempt by Texas to overturn the elections in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Michigan.

All states have now certified their votes and declared that Joe Biden won, although Trump will not yet admit he lost. A final formality establishes that on January 6, Congress will count the votes of the electorate.
