– In our eyes, it is not fair if the New Year’s celebration leads to a further spread of infections, said Frederiksen.
He also said that the festivities already agreed should be canceled.
– We shouldn’t risk everything for one night.

All measurements are expanded
At a press conference on Tuesday evening, Frederiksen stated that all current restrictions will run from January 3-17 and that Danish schoolchildren will be homeschooled during this period.
It will also mean that all restaurants, bars, cultural institutions, shopping centers and other shops, except pharmacies and supermarkets, will have to be closed for another two weeks.

It also means that all public employees who can work from home must do so, and that private employees are encouraged to do the same.
Both the number of coronary heart diseases and deaths and hospitalizations are going the wrong way among the Danes. On Tuesday, 900 corona-infected patients were hospitalized, which is a record and more than three times more than four weeks ago. The country also reported 22 new crown-related deaths in the past 24 hours.
