The man was arrested after a fight with several guards and for threatening them with a revolver in his possession. It was unclear if the gun was real and loaded, the Oslo police wrote. Twitter at 4 pm on Monday afternoon.

Four security guards who are connected to the Gunerius shopping center at Storgate in Oslo took control of the man, Avisa Oslo writes.

– Guards quickly seized control of a person after a weapon was discovered and held it under control until police arrived. says Ådne Mauritzen, communications manager for Avarn Security (formerly Nokas).

Gas gun

Mauritzen says that three of the guards have been sent to the emergency room, but the injuries do not appear to be serious. It was the guards themselves who reported the incident, which occurred at 3:41 pm on Monday afternoon.

According to Operations Manager André Kråkenes in the Oslo Police District, the police had enough to arrest the 28-year-old.

He sat down so hard that there were several servants on him, he said.

At 5.30pm, the police stated that the man had been reported for violence against the police and guards, and that the weapon was gas. Currently, the background to the incident is unclear.

– Threatening with a real-looking weapon is bad enough, says Kråkenes.
