Democrats have great faith that Congress, for the first time, will override a Donald Trump veto when it comes to re-voting on the defense budget.

On Christmas Eve, Trump vetoed the defense budget, even though it had been approved by a large majority in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. For their no to be annulled, a two-thirds majority is required in both assemblies.
Voting in the House of Representatives is scheduled for later Monday, while the Senate vote is scheduled for Tuesday.
The defense budget is $ 740.5 billion, which is roughly equivalent to 6.5 billion crowns.
There are several reasons why Trump vetoed. He is not satisfied with the fact that the budget does not imply the elimination of a law that provides legal protection to social networks like Facebook and Twitter. He also strongly opposes ten military bases changing their names, as they are named after controversial southern generals.
