Several departures are now canceled.
Several Color Line Magic employees tested positive for the coronavirus, the company writes in a press release. There will be around 900 passengers on board. VG writes that Color Line decided to continue the departure to Kiel on Christmas Day, even though they had recently been diagnosed with an infection among employees.
– The entire crew of the sail was tested before departure from Oslo on December 26. Based on this, Color Line decided to carry out the navigation as planned. However, when positive tests have been revealed, Color Line wants to take precautions by canceling trips in the coming days, Color Line writes in a press release.

The cruise company further writes that they put the safety of guests and crew first, and that infection control authorities have been notified. Now all close contacts are established in isolation.

– Color Line regrets the cancellations, and everyone who has booked a trip will be offered a new trip or a ticket refund, they say.

The ship is now heading to Norway and arrives in Oslo on Monday morning at 10 a.m. The almost planned departure after this is now January 3.
