– There is a high level of water in Akerselva with a risk of flooding in the coming days. VAV has released larger amounts of water from the reservoirs in Maridalsvannet due to the large influx and high rainfall expected in the coming days. Be careful when traveling near the river.

In late October, the Water and Sewerage Authority released 25,000 liters of water per second from Maridalsvannet. After that it has dropped to 2,500 liters, but now it has risen to 30,000, six times more than normal in autumn, according to the newspaper.
