There will be snow early in the day, before it turns to rain in the lower parts of southern Norway. It can cause difficult driving conditions.

For Romerikes Blad, the Meteorological Institute explains that the cause is a low pressure that carries precipitation inland.

– It is a low pressure that comes from the Atlantic Ocean and carries with it precipitation. First I eat snow, but then there will be a transition to rain during the afternoon and evening on Saturday, on-duty meteorologist Jon Austrheim tells Romerikes Blad.
