Confirmed: Now also finished in Rosenborg

Rosenborg himself confirms it their websites.

– It’s a bit special that it’s over. It’s been four good years, although he hasn’t been top in terms of results the last two seasons, says Hedenstad, who finished with 148 games for Rosenborg.

He also says that he “has something in his sights” going forward, without revealing what exactly it is.

– I want to thank Vegar for his brilliant contributions as a player on the field, but also a very good role model off the field, says Rosenborg sporting director Mikael Dorsin.

Hedenstad was not on the bench when Rosenborg played 0-0 away against Sandefjord at the end of the season on Tuesday night.

The back came to Rosenborg from St. Pauli before the 2017 season, and was central in the golds won in 2017 and 2018.

This fall, however, it seemed that Hedenstad’s time at RBK was coming to an end, and in late November he admitted the same to Adresseavisen.

– There is nothing that is decided and decided, but there may be things that indicate that we must look for something else, he said then.

The case is being updated.
