Hot White House Reunion –

It is said that a sensational meeting took place in the Oval Office last week. Both The New York Times and CNN reported that a state of emergency has been discussed as a tool to reverse the election outcome.

The meeting must have been very heated and the participants must have yelled at each other. President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, the recently pardoned General Michael Flynn, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and attorney Sidney Powell were among those in attendance.

In an interview with CNN, Pete Buttigieg is asked about his reaction to the news of the meeting and that the state of emergency has been discussed.

“It’s obviously irresponsible and dangerous,” says Buttigieg, but emphasizes that the American people have spoken and that Biden will assume the presidency on inauguration day in January.

– I only hope that the party and the country understand how important it is that we remain committed to democracy, which is the cornerstone of what it means to be an American. We have to get back to that, continue.

– The law is very clear

The conversation about a state of emergency first appeared on Thursday last week, when General Flynn appeared on the Newsmax television channel. He said Trump could use the military to initiate re-election in the auspicious states.

“These people talk about a state of emergency like it’s never been done before,” Flynn said.

The interview attracted attention and has been cited by the New York Times, The Hill, and CNBC, among others. The leaders of the military came out the next day and declared that “the US military has no role in deciding the outcome of an election,” according to CNBC.

– Were you worried? Asks CNN’s Jake Tapper.

– They shouldn’t have to do that, but it’s also comforting to know that professionals, uniforms, the public, and public servants understand what their job is and will follow the law. And the law is very clear about what will happen in the future, Buttigieg responds.

– Sidney vs. alle

According to CNN, two people familiar with the case say the meeting was heated and that the participants must have yelled at each other. This is said to have been caused by Trump aides who opposed the “outrageous” proposal by Powell and Flynn to roll back the election.

A source familiar with the meeting tells Axios that it was Chief of Staff Meadows and adviser Pat Cipollone who was sitting on his hind legs.

– It was Sidney against everyone. Therefore, the votes were raised. There is literally no one in the presidential circle who does not believe that Sidney Powell should be on the first rocket in March, the source says.

It has reportedly been discussed whether Sidney Powell should be a special adviser and oversee an investigation into voter fraud. This is also striking, as the Trump camp recently distanced itself from her.

Powell received a lot of attention after he made bizarre accusations that former Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez ordered the development of a system of electoral fraud. Chávez died in 2013.

John Bolton, a former Trump adviser, also recently commented on the news of the allegedly heated meeting at the White House. He reacted in particular to the assertion that there should have been talk of using a state of emergency to reverse the outcome of the elections.

– This is shocking. There’s no other way to describe it. “It’s unbelievable,” he told CNN.

He stressed that it is important to understand that this “is another day in the Oval Office office.”

– There is a theory that Trump is getting worse as January 20 approaches. It will not be. It is the same behavior over and over again.

It may appear that the interview turned the president red. In the early hours of Norwegian time Sunday, Trump approached Bolton.

– What does Bolton, one of the dumbest people in Washington know, wrote the president, who promised he had many stupid stories about Bolton.

Bolton was once Trump’s national security adviser. Since then, he has been fired and has written the book “The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir,” which contained a series of revelations about the administration and Trump.

In another Twitter message, Trump wrote that reports of a state of emergency are fake news.
