There is no great Norwegian day at the joint outing.
Ahead of Sunday’s joint outing, the Norwegian biathletes took four of four victories at Hochfilzen this week.
On the first shot, Johannes Dale, Sturla Lægreid, Johannes Thingnes Bø, Tarjei Bø and Aleksander Fjeld Andersen had full house, while Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen was aiming for a boom.
In a large leading group, it was Thingnes Bø who took the lead on the track, and five kilometers, the four Norwegians were completely behind the leading Frenchman.
It was consistently a good shoot, and NRK’s Lunde was impressed:
– It’s a fantastic level here!
In the third shooting, only Lægreid was able to register for a full house, in a shooting that was directly opposite to the previous one.
It even went all the way to the finish, and there were several Norwegians who claimed the top. Thingnes Bø took something crazy on the track, and suddenly he was among the best, despite the penalty shoot-out.
Then Lagærid got a boom and Thingnes Bø two rounds of penalties. Tarjei Bø came out in fifth place on the last shot, but Martin Ponsilouma and Arnd Peiffer had built a nice trap door up to Jacquelin and the rest.
Tarjei Bø finally came in as a good third man, the best of the Norwegians on Sunday.
