Neighbors and passersby have contacted Avisen Agder with questions about what is happening.
– Two dead women have been found, but there is nothing to indicate anything criminal. It’s basically a somewhat confusing cause of death, but not something that indicates anything unnatural has happened, says operations manager E claim Formoe in the Agder police district when asked by Agder.
Police write on Twitter that they have carried out a technical and tactical investigation, and that a case is being opened in this regard.
– But is it a bit special that two women are found dead in the same place at the same time?
– Yes, that’s why the police are investigating on the spot to find out more about the circumstances, but as I said, there is nothing to indicate that something criminal has happened.
– There have been cops there for a long time, what happens next?
– It has taken time because the technicians come from other places in Sørlandet. It also takes time because we have to do proper research. An autopsy will also likely be performed to determine the cause of death. We won’t be able to come out with anything else about this until family members are notified and we get more information. The case is being further investigated by local police after the weekend, Formoe says.
