The Norwegian ended up in an argument on the sidelines when Manchester United beat Sheffield United.
It was in overtime of Thursday’s Premier League showdown that television cameras caught Chris Wilder and Ole Gunnar Solskjær in a heated discussion about overtime.
The two team coaches were clearly upset with each other and it all ended with the fourth official going between the two on the sidelines.
Minutes later, Solskjær was able to enjoy a 3-2 win for his Manchester United.

Asked for an apology
After the game, however, the situation with Wilder became an issue, but the Norwegian now criticizes himself for what happened.
– I may have gone a bit too far with my vocabulary and I have apologized, says Solskjær according to The Mirror.
The Norwegian also explained that he would meet with Wilder on Thursday night.
– We had a drink together, says the United manager.

Known for pressure
Solskjær has no problem admitting he was stressed towards the end of the match when Sheffield United cut to 2-3 and chased the tie.
The Norwegian believes his team made it more difficult than necessary. First by being down 0-1 and then letting Sheffield United enter the match again at 1-3.
– Could have been more comfortable. We were careless at 3-1 and we could have scored more. We create good opportunities, says Solskjær.

Get on the table
Manchester United and Solskjær have endured criticism for their start to the season, but the team is heavily involved in the Premier League golden match.
With three new points, United moved up to sixth place in the league, but with one game less played just five points behind league leaders Liverpool.
Now Leeds United is waiting for the next game already on Sunday at Old Trafford.
Solskjær is clear that his team must climb a few steps when visited by his former rival.
– We have to squeeze at home. Sunday’s game will be a great test for us. It’s a great derby. We have been waiting for this match for several years, says Solskjær.
