NEW YORK (Dagbladet): The closest neighbors to Trump’s private club in Palm Beach, Florida, on Tuesday sent a letter with a clear message to the outgoing president: We don’t want you as a neighbor.
The letter was turned over to local city authorities and also to the Secret Service, writes the Washington Post.

In the letter, neighbors claim that Trump lost the right to live in the large old mansion when he converted it from a private residence to a private club in the early 1990s. “Palm Beach has many beautiful properties for sale and we are confident that President Trump will find one that meets his needs,” writes attorney Reginald Stambaugh in the letter.
For several years, the neighbors have been upset by the traffic jams and the closed streets because the president has come to Mar-a-Lago so often. Even before Trump became president, neighbors are said to have reacted when he did not want to follow local regulations. Among other things, he installed massive masts that broke with height adjustments in the area. During his presidency, Trump visited Mar-a-Lago at least 30 times and spent at least 130 days, according to the Washington Post. He has also invited heads of state from other countries there.
If Trump moves Mar-a-Lago after Jan.20, it could also create problems for the Secret Service. The police force will remain responsible for protecting Trump and must comply with federal and local laws.
