The main Norwegian manager of the EQT takeover fund, Christian Sinding, moved to Switzerland six years ago and has rented the villa in Bygdøy in recent years.

You have now decided to sell the magnificent property.

– So you probably have no intention of going home to Norway, real estate agent Anders Langtind in Privatmegleren tells DN about the background of the house sale.

Ga 40 mill. and 2010

Sinding bought the property in 2010 for NOK 40 million. Since then, the house has been significantly expensive and improved, among other things, the facade was renovated for five to six million crowns in 2012 after a construction defect was discovered.

“Unique and modern villa in a very attractive location,” it says in the Finnish ad that ran this weekend.

– This is an absolutely fantastic home that has incredibly good sun conditions and a superior dock setup, where you can easily add a sailboat, says Langtind.

Have agreed opinions

He thinks NOK 85 million is the correct price for the item.

The property of XXL founder Ø vivos Tidemandsen on the same street in Bygdøy was sold for NOK 68 million last winter, after he originally wanted NOK 80 million for it.

– I received several inquiries after we published the housing ad. He asked for three pieces yesterday, and today he asked for two, so now I’ve agreed to show with five families next week, says Anders Langtind.(Terms)Copyright Dagens Næringsliv AS and / or our suppliers.
