Wolverhampton had no chance against Liverpool wanting to score.
LIVERPOOL – WOLVERHAMPTON 4-0:
After goals from Mohamed Salah, Georginio Wijnaldum and Joel Matip, as well as an own goal from Nelson Semedo, it was finally a great night for everyone with a heart in Liverpool.
After Wijnaldum’s 2-0, images of a smiling Virgil van Dijk also appeared in the stands, who has been out due to injury since 17 October.

“I never remember seeing him make that kind of mistake,” Hangeland said during the break.
Just before the break, referee Craig Pawson pointed to the penalty spot, after Coady fell in a duel with Sadio Mané within 16 meters of Liverpool. However, the repetitions showed that contact with the Senegalese was practically absent. The red jerseys were thus able to breathe a sigh of relief after the VAR helped convert the penalty.
Night out
The 1-0 became 2-0 when Wijnaldum in the 58th minute finished off an excellent counterattack in beautiful fashion, bolting the ball into the cross from 17 meters.

And before the second half was played, the match also scored the third goal for the Reds. After a short corner, Salah found a perfect post for midfielder Matip, who headed in his first goal of the season.
