The crown’s measures have helped the infection to flatten out, according to deputy health director Espen Nakstad, who says the second wave of infection is likely over.
– Now it seems that we are at the top of this second wave of infection in most places, and it is decreasing in many municipalities. But it can go back up quickly, so we’re not safe yet, he tells NRK.
He says national corona measures have helped and have meant that the rise in infection has stabilized across the country.

– I think that at least it will be possible for most people to celebrate with those with whom they live, and perhaps with the immediate family, it is very important. And then the question is how many more people can you meet during Christmas in space. This is a question that is difficult to answer today, he says.
