At 8:38 p.m. on Saturday, the police were notified of the shooting at the Fossveien – Helgesens gate intersection in Oslo.

Witnesses inform both the police and the Aftenposten reporter at the scene that at least two people got into a fight just before the shooting.

– I heard a person say “I shoot you”, or something like that. Then I heard a cargo grab and then I stabbed, a witness tells Aftenposten. Then the person in question heard two shots at intervals of about 5-6 seconds, a witness tells Aftenposten.

One of the shots, or possibly the ricochet of a shot, went through a window of a ground-floor apartment near where the shot was fired. There were people in the apartment, but no one was injured.

Police write on Twitter that they have multiple clues that it is either a random hit or a boom shot.

I noticed the shot went through the window

– Those who were in the apartment marked by the gunshot entered through the window and called us, says the director of operations of the Oslo police.

– We have technicians on the way to investigate the crime scene.

Police say they are investigating the case thoroughly, but have no specific suspects in the case yet. They claim on Twitter that they are looking for a silver Volkswagen Polo that was seen in connection with the incident.

It has been established that one of the shots hit the glass of a window in an apartment building, but no one in the apartment was physically injured.

Packages were left. Can be drugs

Three packages were left at the scene of the shooting. Police waited Saturday night for technicians to arrive at the scene, but believe there are drugs in the packages.

– Everything indicates that drugs and possibly hashish are what is left on the street, says task manager Lars Kostveit to Aftenposten.

So it may be that something has gone wrong in connection with a drug deal.

Police forensic technicians investigated the crime scene Sunday night. In the apartment where a shot came in through the window, they found the projectile in the wall.
