The case is being updated!

The board of Entra has received an interest that could lead to the purchase of the shares of real estate company Entra, according to a stock exchange announcement Tuesday morning.

The company is short on details of the aforementioned interest, and asks the shareholders of the publicly traded company to be cautious in their transactions with shares of the company in the future and not to make hasty decisions.

“It is not certain whether this offer will make it to the table, or whether the exchange will be completed,” the report says.

Solid economy

Real estate company Entra had a market value of NOK 26.2 billion at the close of business on Monday. Following the opening of the stock exchange, Entra’s share price will increase by eight percent, and the market value is now NOK 28.3 billion.

The listed Entra Group, which was previously state-owned, now has the Ministry of Commerce and Industry as the second largest owner. The Ministry owns 8.23 percent of the shares, while Folketrygdfondet is the largest owner with 8.8 percent. Entra Group has a strong economy, and in the last five years it has raised more than NOK 18 billion before taxes.

– The stock has traded quite low

DNB Markets analyst Simen FR Mortensen believes that Entra has long been an obvious candidate for the acquisition.

– The stock has been trading lower and has been our top buy candidate for at least the last six months, he says.

Mortensen believes that the most obvious purchase candidates are in Norway or Sweden.

– There may be large international Swedish real estate companies that want to pay in stocks or wealthy people in Norway. It will be exciting to see, says Mortensen.

However, he does not want to name the Norwegians in question, except that he refers to some of the richest in the country. Among the Swedish candidates, Castellum and Balder stand out, but he emphasizes that he has no more information than anyone else. (Terms)Copyright Dagens Næringsliv AS and / or our suppliers.
