A total of 96 students attended two performances under the auspices of the Academy of Musical Theater in Oslo. 53 of these have now been confirmed infected with covid-19.
Communication consultant Anette Johnsrud Larsåsen tells TV 2 that this is an incredibly demanding and boring situation.
– This was a teaching situation, so now we are working to review our routines and secure students, he says.
It was Dagbladet who brought up the case for the first time.
Johnsrud Larsåsen states that they have been given permission to perform after having been in contact with the Ministry of Education.
– We have had good routines for infection control measures at all times. The students were sitting three feet apart and wearing bandages, he says.
The communications consultant says they have control over the situation, but it is too early to answer whether there will be more cases of contagion.
– Are you afraid that this will have consequences for you?
– The consequences are already there in the form of infected people. But we have operated on the basis of crown regulations and we have not assessed further consequences based on that, says Johnsrud Larsåsen.
