New infection control tips have been received from the municipality of Tromsø, valid from Thursday 19 November.
Activity restrictions end for the 15-20 age group. This is because the municipality sees that they have the infection under control to a greater extent.
– It has been five days since the last positive test with an unknown source of infection, and three days since the last positive that was infected in Tromsø. This shows that the measures have worked and that we can now alleviate some of them, says chief infection control physician Trond Brattland.
New advice has also been received stating that people traveling to Tromsø from areas with a high level of infection are tested on the fifth day after arrival in Tromsø. This also applies to areas in Norway, the municipality writes in a press release.
New tip:
People traveling to Tromsø from areas with a high level of infection (also in Norway) are advised to get tested on the 5th day after arrival in Tromsø (in addition to being tested for symptoms).
These tips end:
1) Restrictions on activities for the 15-20 age group in sports, events and leisure activities are removed. National standards, advice and guidelines continue to apply.
2) Recommendation for short-term placement / internship deferral for high school students and students is canceled.
3) For upper secondary schools, all tips are canceled in addition to a greater focus on general recommendations. National infection control guidelines for covid-19 apply.
