Watch Austria-Norway on tv2.no and Sumo on kl. 19. The broadcast begins at 20 on TV 2.
TV 2 may experience the acting director of the national team, Leif Gunnar Smerud, starting with six debutants in the Nations League meeting with Austria on Wednesday.
The whole team: Per Kristian Bråtveit – Julian Ryerson, Ruben Gabrielsen, Andreas Hanche-Olsen, Jørgen Skjelvik – Ghayas Zahid, Sondre Tronstad, Fredrik Ulvestad, Mats Møller Dæhli – Veton Berisha, Jørgen Strand Larsen.
Bråtveit, Ryerson, Gabrielsen, Hanche-Olsen, Tronstad and Strand Larsen get their first matches with the flag on their chest.
Norway doesn’t know what it takes to win the group
Captain Mats Møller Dæhli is the most deserving player with 23 previous internationals. Skjelvik (7 games), Zahid (1 game), Ulvestad (3 games) and Berisha (4 games) are the others with experience in national teams.
None of the players on the bench (Anders Kristiansen, Daniel Granli, Andreas Vindheim, Tobias Børkeeiet, Kristoffer Askildsen, Kristian Thorstvedt and Håkon Evjen) have matches with the national team.
Per Kristian Bråtveit didn’t arrive in Vienna until Wednesday, but the Djurgården goalkeeper goes straight for the Norwegian goal at the expense of Anders Kristiansen.
Norway is deploying the so-called “emergency national team” after Omar Elabdellaoui’s positive crown test last week quarantined the entire original national team team. As a result, the national team was denied travel and Sunday’s Nations League clash with Romania was canceled.
