The scheme will stimulate more activity. For Hanne Krogh Productions, this applies to Christmas concerts with Krogh himself, opera director Thomas Ruud, Stein Austrud, Tarjei Nysted and Espen Alexander Husby.
The second largest allocation through this scheme is awarded to JSG Event with more than NOK 2.6 million. The company will organize a tour with the hypnotist Torgrim Holte. This is followed by the KF cinema and concert hall in Haugesund, which receives just over 2.1 million crowns.
A decision totaling NOK 14.7 million was made on Tuesday, says the Cultural Council.
Cinema and museum
Under the compensation scheme, SF Norway will receive around NOK 12.5 million, which will go towards compensation for film screenings canceled after the closure or partial closure of Norwegian cinemas. United International Pictures will also receive money, just over NOK 6 million, which will go towards compensation for subcontractors related to cinematographic performances.
The Norwegian Folk Museum receives just over NOK 7.7 million to compensate for the reduction in ticket revenue, while Urbane Totninger receives almost NOK 6.9 million. Among the other recipients is Allsang on the border, which receives just over NOK 1.5 million in revenue from lost tickets due to the pandemic.
This time, the payments through the compensation plan are NOK 58.5 million.
Not the cadet
Among those who have been rejected is the Cadet. According to VG, the Bærum festival requested NOK 14.5 million.
– The cadet has applied on the basis of this year’s budget instead of the average result of the last three years, but we perceive the budget that they have presented as unrealistic. Therefore, we have conducted an evaluation based on the results of the last three years. There, they have on average a clearly negative operating result and therefore there is no basis for compensation, senior adviser Thomas Hansen of the Norwegian Cultural Council informs the newspaper.
