Kari Jaquesson, Coronavirus | Kari Jaquesson’s remix removed from YouTube

Monday took off online and then disappeared.

On Monday, the YouTube channel “Songs from the news” came up with a new video, and this time it was Kari Jaquesson who was “remixed.”

On October 31, Jaquesson posted a live broadcast on his Facebook page in which he criticized the government’s corona strategy and claimed that the media “imagine to the population that it is a potentially deadly virus.” It was this video that became music.

On Tuesday, the music video was removed from YouTube for the reason: “This video has now been removed due to a violation of YouTube’s Terms of Use.”

For Nettavisen, the man behind the YouTube channel explains what happened:

– YouTube believes that it violates its guidelines, that it disseminates information about the pandemic that violates the WHO guidelines. They are quite adamant about this, and tend to remove such content quickly without deciding whether it is a comment or a satire, writes “Songar,” who has previously told TV 2 that he wants to remain anonymous.

– I think it is an English / Norwegian language barrier. A logarithm or American who has a hard time understanding Norwegian satire.

He also says that he appealed the decision, which he also did with a Vision Norway video.

That time, the appeal was carried out and the video came back.

– These videos are quite similar, against the guidelines, says “Songar”.

Before the reason for the deletion of the video was clarified, Nettavisen also contacted Jaquesson. Then he didn’t know anything about why the video was removed:

– No, nothing. I think it was very festive! I even gave him a positive comment on his YouTube channel, Jaquesson tells Nettavisen.

– I wrote something like ‘Wonderful! I also hope that some of his followers will open their eyes to the message, “he adds.

The YouTube email to “Songar” reads as follows:
