216 new infected in Oslo in the last 24 hours – NRK Oslo and Viken – Local news, TV and radio

After increasing the infection for several weeks in Oslo, the infection curve reached a new peak today.

In the last 24 hours there have been 216 new cases of coronary heart disease in the city, according to the summary of the municipality. This is the largest number of days so far in the pandemic.

In the last 14 days, 1988 new cases have been registered in Oslo. This is almost double the previous 14 days again, when the number of new cases was 1,038.

It is still among people in the 20 to 29 age group that the majority are infected.

The districts with the most infection per inhabitant are, given that there has been much of the pandemic, the eastern and southern districts. In Søndre Nordstrand, the number of infected per 100,000 inhabitants now up to 455, in Stovner 450 and in Bjerke 439.

Ullern and Vestre Aker are the districts with the least infected by. 100,000 inhabitants, with 101 and 177 infected, respectively.

First weekend after new austerity measures

This is the first weekend in Oslo after the City Council introduced a new tightening of infection control rules on the night of 10 November.

An end point to drinking has led to many restaurants and bars closing their doors, in addition to the city council urging people to limit their social contact.

Operations manager Svein Kristian Lie in the Oslo Police District says they have had an unusually quiet night.

– We have received some reports of noisy parties in private homes, but in all of them there have been fewer than 10 people present.

In Lørenskog, on the other hand, 30 people were reported for violating infection control rules after a party at a private home in Finnstadjordet.

Romerikes Blad is told by the police that it was not a youth party, but beyond that they cannot say anything about the age of the participants.

Several parties ended in Trøndelag

In Trøndelag, the police have had to break up seven parties at which there have been complaints about noise and loud music. Police say they have not detected any infringement of infection control regulations.

In the western police district, however, they report a very quiet night.

– We have moved to six reports of disturbed night peace, says Operations Director Per Algrøy.

– There have been few people gathered in these places and no one has been reported for violating infection control rules.
