President Donald Trump speaks on Friday for the first time since the electoral defeat. Here he talks about “Operation Warp Speed”, Trump’s own vaccine plan.
In the last nine months, we have started the best mobilization in history to get a vaccine ready in record time. It has never been done before and we are very proud, says Trump.
He notes that Pfizer says they have created a vaccine that is 90 percent safe, and Trump claims that his own vaccine could be even better.
Trump also says they have given millions of dollars to Pfizer and takes credit for this advance in the vaccine.
– My administration will distribute the vaccine. It can take eight to twelve years to organize a vaccine. We have been doing it for over a year. It’s five times faster than ever, says Trump, repeating “five times.”
Congratulations to all
– Leaders from various countries have called us and congratulated us for what we have achieved. I want to congratulate everyone who has been involved in this, it has been a fantastic effort, says Trump.
– Through Warp Speed we do it in a year. If I had another administration, this would have taken three, four or five years in my opinion, says Trump.

Trump says the vaccines will be distributed to everyone in April except New York. He states that the governor does not want a vaccine from his administration.
At one point, Trump comes up with a near miss, in which he almost admits that another administration will take over.
