Apple’s new ARM machines are not compatible with Blackmagic eGPUs.
Apple promises up to 18 and 20 hours of battery life on Air and Pro
It’s a shame for those who wanted to turn Apple machines, with a long battery life, into gaming machines.
The most disappointing thing about the machines is that the design has hardly changed, but at least it seems that the battery life increases so much that this alone will make the machines attractive.
Additionally, Apple believes that computers, compared to Windows computers in the same class, are many times faster with better performance per watt on CPU, GPU, and machine learning chip.
Perhaps the most complicated thing is that the Mac mini is not compatible with external, a machine that is perfect for connecting to the television. Well, it might not be that dangerous – we have new consoles now, and OS X (no bootcamp support anyway) doesn’t exactly have a huge library of games.

The MacBook Air can be equipped with an eight-core GPU (like the MacBook Pro M1 and Mac mini m1), instead of seven, if you choose the Air model with a 512GB SSD.
In other words, the machines have the same CPU anyway, and the only thing that can be adjusted further is RAM and storage space.
