Kill millions of minks to ensure the effect of the coronary vaccine

The Royal Life Guard is in place, public transport has stopped working and millions of minks have to pay with their lives. Nothing should be left untested when Denmark pursues the ‘group 5’ virus mutation.

“Preliminary studies suggest that ‘group 5’ mutation viruses are not inhibited by antibodies from people with a history of infection, as are viruses that have not mutated.”

Writes the Danish Statens Serum Institut.

Denmark has now gone to war against the country between 15 and 17 million minks.

Reason? Make sure potential coronary vaccines actually immunize people.

– The mutation is not inhibited by antibodies to the same degree as the common virus. Antibodies still have an effect, but not that great, says a concerned academic director Kåre Mølbak at the Statens Serum Institut.

North Jutland stops

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen strongly urged the inhabitants of seven municipalities in North Jutland not to leave the municipality in which they live.

On the same day, it was decided to kill the mink population. The Statens Serum Institut has concluded that the infection has spread from mink to humans, writes Danmarks Radio.

The shutdown took drastic measures: on Thursday, public transport in North Jutland came to a halt.

Also, soldiers from Denmark’s response to Garden, the Royal Life Guards, come to help organize the massacre. They and other parts of the Armed Forces will not be responsible for the actual slaughter, but they will contribute to maintaining control.

– All of Denmark will benefit from your effort, patience and community spirit, Frederiksen told North Jutlanders.

To the country’s fur industry, he said:

– Lifetime work is lost, which in some cases has been inherited through several generations. It is a sad day for you and for everyone who works in the mining industry.

12 people with «cluster 5»

So far, 11 people have been reported infected with the “group 5” mutation in North Jutland.

And equally concerning: one with infection in Midtsjælland, in a part of the country other than the area that is now closed. It should not be clear how the person in question, an elderly resident of a nursing home, was infected.

– Therefore, we cannot guarantee that this mutation does not exist in other parts of the country, says Health Minister Magnus Heunicke.

All corona positive samples in Denmark should now be tested for ‘group 5’. So far, 17 percent have been verified, writes Danmarks Radio.

– This is done so that we can be sure that there are no groups of infection in other places, says the Minister of Health.

Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen cannot rule out that similar restrictions will be introduced in other parts of the country if the infection spreads, NTB reports.
