2019 was a great year for founders Jan Henrik Jelsa and William Gulliksen. In the result of last year there were just over 77 million before taxes. Pizzabakeren Holding, better known as Pizzabakeren, has around 200 outlets in Norway, and according to DN, pizza sells for around NOK 1.3 billion.

Now, however, there are many who are interested in buying the pizza chain for Jelsa and Gulliksen, and it can be a very lucrative deal for the two guys from Stavanger.
– It is true that we are in a process of selling the chain. But we are not done with a sale yet. So I can’t say any more about this right now, says chairman of the board of directors Rolf Hodne at Pizzabakeren Holding to DN (subscription required).

The newspaper experiences that the purchase price will be around 1.3 billion. DN further writes that the company has minimal debt. Therefore, the two owners can share almost the total sum between them. The pizzeria also has outlets in Sweden, China, Ireland, Spain and the United States.
