When will we know who has won? This has been one of the key issues in the days leading up to the US presidential election, and beyond.
Some, like investment bank Goldman Sachs, believed the election result would be available soon.
The bank justified the prediction with metrics that gave Biden the lead in states like Arizona, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina, where vote-by-mail counting began even before the election.
President Donald Trump is also impatient, demanding yesterday that the election result be available on election night.

Requires stop count
Last Sunday, the Texas Supreme Court rejected a Republican lawsuit to reject nearly 127,000 votes cast from car windows in the Houston area.
