Police are said to have moved out of the home of the former Manchester United star (46) after reports of riots.
Several English newspapers claimed Monday night that former Manchester United player Ryan Giggs had been arrested, on suspicion of violence against his girlfriend Kate Greville.
Newspapers such as the Daily Mail, The Sun and The Mirror report this.
A Giggs spokesperson told The Mirror the following:
– Mr. Giggs denies all accusations against him that he has been violent. He is now cooperating with the police and will continue to do so during the investigation.

The 46-year-old has worked as a coach for the Wales national team since 2018 and the Welsh Football Association has also made a statement in the case.
– The Wales Football Association has learned of an incident involving Ryan Giggs. The association does not want to comment on this beyond this.
According to the Daily Mail, police are said to have moved into Giggs’ Worley home on Sunday night, after there were reports of riots.
The former Manchester United player is said to have been arrested on suspicion of using physical violence against his girlfriend.

Giggs and Kate Greville have been lovers on and off since 2017. They met in 2013 when Greville had the job as a public relations consultant for the company “Hotel Football,” where Giggs is a co-owner along with several other former United players.
The two appeared as dating in public for the first time in 2018. He then brought her to Italy, eight months after Giggs divorced his ex-wife Stacey.
The rape occurred after several infidelities were known through the media. Among other things, Giggs is said to have had a relationship with his brother’s wife Natasha Lever and model Imogen Thomas for a period.

Back in 2015, there were rumors that Giggs and Greville had become a couple, just 18 months after she started working for him. It was Greville’s then-husband, Damian Burke, who later accused Giggs of being “the third person” in their marriage, but at the time the two refused to be in a relationship.

Manchester Police have commented on the incident to The Sun:
– Police moved to the scene at 10:05 p.m. Sunday following reports of riots. A woman in her 30s is said to have suffered minor injuries but did not need treatment, says a police spokesman.
A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
Giggs is said to have been released on bail later, but the 46-year-old is said to have been photographed as he was leaving the Pendleton Police Station.
