The fear of violent riots leads the White House to implement security measures.
NEW YORK (Nettavisen): According to Fox News, the White House will put up a fence that will make it impossible to climb and enter the president’s office and residence.

A law enforcement source told Fox News on Monday that they would install a security fence around the entire complex.
So it is on Monday outside the White House. Several workers can be seen in the background, behind several billboards around the White House where President Donald Trump will be staying on election night.

250 National Guard on standby
Washington DC Police Chief Peter Newsham said last week that there were currently “no credible threats of violence at this time,” but at the same time claimed that various groups had requested permission to hold large demonstrations and that all police forces be put in town on Election Day.
It was NBC News reporter Geoff Bennett who first mentioned the security fence that is now being installed around the White House.
He writes that 250 people from the National Guard have been put on hold in the city.
On the White House fence, several protesters already hung signs that read, among other things, “Trump Out,” “Arrest Trump” and “Trump is a danger to all.”

Trump cancels the election party
Donald Trump has canceled the electoral party that he was going to have at his hotel in Washington DC, and on Monday the press secretary confirms that he will be in the White House, reports NTB.

According to the New York Times, the Trump campaign had originally planned to have an election party at its own hotel in Washington DC. However, this was canceled last week, NTB writes. The reason must have been that coronary restrictions prevented large crowds from gathering.
Fear of violence and riots
There are fears of violence and unrest in various parts of the United States in connection with the upcoming elections on Tuesday.
In Washington, Denver, Los Angeles and New York, several stores have closed their windows for fear of riots during and after elections.

In a new USA Today poll, up to three-quarters respond that they fear violence or violent disturbances on or after Election Day, a sharp increase since before the 2016 election.
