The reigning champion team in Toppserien now stands no chance in the title battle that they have won six times in a row.
VÅLERENGA – LSK WOMAN 4-2:
The highest category of women’s football will be won in 2020 by a club other than LSK Women for the first time in seven years.
Archrival Vålerenga made sure to win 4-2 in Sunday’s all-time high at the Intility Arena. The Oslo club continue to lead the table with one point at Rosenborg, while the defending champion LSK is now seven points behind with just two league rounds to play.

There were many scoring opportunities on both ends of the field. But the first classified VIF showed a superior class with his finals in the match that LSK could not lose.
– This is a demonstration of Vålerenga’s power. They send a signal that they will win gold in this year’s main series, Robin Haugen told Nettavisen Direktesport as the match was coming to a close.

But just a minute later, VIF forward and top scorer Njoya Ajara made it 4-1, following a great pass from former LSK player Sherida Spitse.
Thea Kyvåg, 16, dropped once again for LSK six minutes before full time. The substitute was able to roll the other invited goals in a completely open area, but the reigning champion team did not come any closer.
