Sylvi Listhaug will present on Tuesday the draft of the FRP party program, in which they propose increasing the sentence from 21 to 50 years and introducing medical castration of people who commit serious sexual abuse of minors.

– We want it to be more difficult to commit serious criminal acts in Norway and it should hurt to be a criminal. For this reason, we are in favor of sharpening the level of punishment and increasing the maximum penalty to 50 years. It is not only terrorist acts that should carry a much higher penalty, but also murder and other serious crimes, Listhaug tells VG.

He has chaired the program committee that this Tuesday publishes its proposal for a new party program for Frp.

– I would especially like to highlight our proposals to better protect children from abusers. Unfortunately, too many children are exposed to many atrocities in the form of sexual abuse, both at home, in sports, and elsewhere. This is a problem in Norway, which is much more far-reaching than previously thought. Children inside and outside Norway are exposed to Norwegian pedophiles.

Castration

She lists a number of points of sharpness:

– Parents who have been convicted of mistreating their own children will be immediately deprived of the right to care and visits.

– Those who have committed serious sexual abuse of children should be able to be sentenced to medical castration treatment, under close monitoring: gender suppressive medical treatment.

The Minister of Justice has no excuse to say that medical castration has given good results

– Abusers should be able to lose the right to a passport, to prevent them from traveling abroad to exploit children.

– We want a public registry to be established for people who have committed child abuse and open to notify local communities about people who have been repeatedly convicted of serious sexual abuse of children.

– Are you going to contribute to the gallows, since some have contributed by traveling through local communities to tell you what your neighbor has done?

– No, this private outing is not right, but if it is a serious repeated abuse of children, it is the duty of society to report it. So children’s safety comes first.

Listhaug says they are also proposing to open up to general police weaponry and that attacks on police must stop.

– We want to sharpen the level of punishment against attacks on the police and give them the opportunity to be armed.

– There are not many examples of attacks on the police in Norway; Are these proposals inspired by the attacks on the police that we see in the United States?

– No, but we want to avoid such a development, as we see in Sweden. We do not want the violence that we have seen there to reach Norway. Ordinary police officers are also exposed to death threats in their homes. They have trouble recruiting police officers for the profession. Therefore, we believe that police officers should have identity protection in Norway. We must be careful.

– We don’t want Swedish conditions

She says that the development of gang crime points in that direction and that they will invest resources to prevent violent gangs from taking hold.

– We are scared by the violence perpetrated by criminal youth gangs. It is not only about Oslo, but we also see it in Romerike, in Kristiansand and Drammen.

– We also see that younger people are increasingly recruited into these types of gangs, so we want to reduce the minimum criminal age to 14 years. We also propose to allow greater use of unconditional incarceration against offenders under the age of 18.

She says that a minority in the sample will not lower the minimum age.

Listhaug says they generally want to make it harder to be a criminal.

– We propose to reduce the use of conditional prison; The incarceration imposed will be fully served and we will eliminate the current quantity discount by sentencing for various offenses.

– There is not much crime in Norway: is it really necessary to adopt the austerity measures you propose?

– We promote these proposals because we want to avoid such development that we see in other countries. We don’t want Swedish conditions, where resettlement costs many lives. Earlier this year, an innocent 12-year-old girl had to pay with her life when she went out to ventilate the dog.

He laments after a twelve-year-old boy was killed in Sweden: – He was full of life and love

In the proposal, they still want a national ban on begging.

FRP will also schedule to limit the use of monitoring.

– With the exception of cases related to the security of the kingdom and serious crimes.

– And then you will close the Emergency Police (Above). Why?

– Yes, we think it is better to distribute the positions in Up to police districts, which are given the responsibility of taking rough drivers – or are used in other services to combat serious crimes. We need more resources for police work and we will end cases where known perpetrators will not be eliminated.

– Little thought

KrF justice policy spokesman Geir Toskedal believes Frp will have problems with many of the proposals.

– Extending the maximum sentence to 50 years seems ill-considered, it seems populist and categorical. FRP has had a number of justice ministers without having presented such a proposal before, so it smells like an electoral campaign here, Toskedal tells VG.

When it comes to measures and sanctions for those who have abused children, you may be able to participate and discuss some of them, but first I need to know more about them.

Toskedal refusal of the national ban on begging.

– Is to approach the problem completely wrong. Begging is due to need and poverty, but we want to cooperate in begging that has to do with crime.
