On Friday March 8, 2014, Malaysia Airlines MH370 disappeared on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
On board the aircraft, a Boeing 777-200ER, were 227 passengers and twelve crew members.
No emergency signal was received before the plane disappeared.
Subsequently, remains linked to the plane have been found in Mozambique and Madagascar, among other places. Some remains are also found on Reunion and other islands along the east coast of Africa.
Theory: the pilot chose to steer the aircraft
Meanwhile, various theories have been put forward to explain what happened to the plane.
One of the theories is that the pilot himself chose to fly the plane and take the entire crew and all the dead passengers with him.
It was former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott who claimed that the Malaysian authorities had ended the mass murder theory.
Other theories have pointed to the possibility of hijacking, fire or engine failure.
But still, almost seven years after the mysterious disappearance, there are more questions than answers.

Mark the probable place of the accident
On Saturday, the Daily Mail writes that four aviation experts have come up with a new theory. Experts are now pointing to what they believe may be the most likely crash site in the West Indies.
They believe the Malaysia Airlines planes, which were headed from Malaysia to Beijing, flew a total of 4,320 kilometers before disappearing at sea.
They indicate that the exact coordinates are S34.2342 and E93.7875.
According to Airlive, aviation engineer Victor Ianello and his team based in the United States believe that the wreckage is likely to be within a 100-nautical-mile radius of the coordinates.
Expert: Researchers have investigated in the wrong place
Another aviation expert, Byron Bailey, who is a former pilot, believes that investigators have so far investigated in the wrong place and should have looked further south.
– I’m sure the captain tried to maneuver the plane as far south as possible so that as little of the plane as possible sank. Bailey tells the Daily Mail.
He states that the records that have been made so far have been made about 30 kilometers from the place where he believes the remains are found at the bottom of the sea.
