The American magazine The New Yorker has suspended profiled reporter Jeffrey Toobin.
The reason is that Toobin allegedly masturbated during a meeting on the Zoom video platform earlier this month.

“I made a stupid and embarrassing mistake, and I thought I was off-camera,” Toobin said in a statement to Vice on Monday.

Toobin has not commented on the allegations that he masturbated.
