– I don’t understand how people can get away from something like that, says Grethe Netland Dypvik to Dagbladet, after making the macabre discovery in the immediate area.
The case was first mentioned by Fædrelandvennen.
Dybvik lives on Strai, which is about 8 kilometers from Kristiansand city center. When he drove away from his home yesterday, he noticed a broken umbrella by the road near the residential area.
On the way home again, at 5.30pm, he stopped because he wanted to throw the umbrella in the trash.
– I like to pick up trash from time to time, he says.
Animal bones stuck out
It soon turned out that it was not just an umbrella that had been forgotten by the road.
– The umbrella was broken, but it still appeared. As I got closer, I saw for the first time four protruding animal bones. Then I realized it was a deer. I could hardly believe my own eyes.
– The deer lay on an Ikea bag. The body was quite visible, but the head was not visible so I thought it was face down under the body. The animal also had a piece of rope on one hind leg, Dypvik continues.
Without head
She says she did not dare to touch the animal and therefore the police and wildlife committee called for the find.
He eventually went home and then got a call from the wildlife department.
– Viltnemda said the deer head was gone, he says.
– Viltnemda further said that they were wondering if an animal, maybe a fox, could have been there and take the head, but I don’t quite understand it, because then no fox can have put the deer in an Ikea bag, he continues. .
Possibly hit
What may have happened to the deer, why its head was missing, and why it was in the Ikea bag, is still unclear.
– It may have been hit, says Dypvik.
According to the information you have received, no bullet holes have been found in the dead animal.
– It seems strange to me, and I have thought a lot about what could have happened, why someone has postponed it like this, and has not been responsible, says Dypvik, who adds that after all she is happy that she was the one who found it. – and not a child.
