After two years as CEO of Selvaag Bolig, he resigned at the initiative of the board. CFO Sverre Molvik will now take over.

Following an evaluation process, the Selvaag Bolig board agreed that Rolf Thorsen will resign today from his position as CEO.
It appears in a stock announcement on Monday.
In a conversation with E24, Thorsen confirms the resignation, but has no comment beyond this.
– Thorsen’s time at the company was shorter than we had planned. I would still like to thank you for your good work during the time we have worked together, says the chairman of the board, Olav H. Selvaag, in the report.
Sverre Molvik, former CFO of Selvaag Bolig, will take over from Thorsen.
Previously, he was also CEO of Skanska Bolig and regional director of Peab Bolig.
Øystein Klungland will become Deputy General Manager, having served as Executive Vice President of Greater Oslo.
Rolf Thorsen has a twelve month severance pay agreement.
