Earlier this week, the first photo was shared by King Philippe of Belgium and his half-sister Delphine Boël (52). The latter won the right to call herself Princess of Belgium earlier this month, after she recently sued the Belgian royal family.
After a DNA test in January, it was revealed that she is the daughter of the former King Albert II, something the latter has long denied.
The case, naturally, has attracted a lot of attention in the last year, and recently returned to create new headlines, later because Boël, who is now a princess, was represented with the current king of the country.
The king met his “new” sister
The duo, who are half-brothers, met on Friday, October 9, just under a week after it became clear that Boël had hijacked the title of princess. And now their image has space between columns again.

According to the Danish BT, the royal house expert Sebastian Olden-Jørgensens believes that the image is nothing more than a deliberate strategy by the Belgian royal house and describes it as a kind of damage control. It also points out a very special detail in the relatively recent image.

Olden-Jørgensen points to the fact that it is King Philip who is represented with Boël, and not the father of the duo, former King Albert II.

The 86-year-old’s confession came to the table after Boël has been struggling for years to prove that the former king is her biological father.
His Majesty King Albert II has taken note of the results of the DNA test he performed as a result of a request from a Brussels court. The scientific conclusion shows that he is the biological father of Delphine Boël, former King Alain Berenboom’s lawyer declared in January.
