Joshua King has long been disconnected from Bournemouth, and today he removed his veil.
– I feel a little rusty. As you can see, I haven’t played many games. I feel far from being in top shape. It hasn’t been the easiest months for me mentally, I have to be honest, King tells TV 2 after the game.
He admits that he doesn’t know what will happen next. King just looked a bit impressed in the interview.
– I honestly don’t know what’s going on. If I had written a book in the last few months, it would definitely have been a best seller. If I stay in Bournemouth, I will stay in Bournemouth. But to be honest, these have been the worst two months of my life, he says.
The forward admits he is not in his best shape.
– I miss training well and playing at the highest level. Many people judge by what happens in 90 minutes. But soccer is cool and I am my biggest critic. You will find out one day.
Still, King doesn’t want to say openly what bothers him during the day, but strongly hints that it’s the club’s situation that doesn’t make him completely happy.
– I can’t answer that. If it had been up to me, I would have signed for a club, played four games and been in top form. But I don’t want anyone to think “oh, poor thing”, because he is not “poor thing”, he thinks.
King has been linked to clubs like Manchester United, Turin, West Ham and Everton in recent months. Still, time is running out, as the window for transitions in England closes on October 16.
