Else Kåss Furuseth doesn’t take a chance on the millions she makes, but she loses a lot from it.
The popular comedian and host can look back on a very good 2019, financially. Revenue increased from NOK 3.7 million to NOK 5.94 million, operating profit and profit before tax from NOK 2.24 million to NOK 4.2 million.
Furuseth has built up solid capital and was awarded a dividend of NOK 1.05 million last year, up from NOK 210,000 in 2018. Additionally, he earned a salary of NOK 844,000.

At the end of last year, Furuseth had a deposit of more than NOK 8.7 million with the bank, an increase of more than NOK 3 million from the previous year.

Together with Henrik Thodesen, Odd-Magnus Williamson, Morten Ramm and Sigrid Bonde Tusvik, from 2002 to 2008 she was involved in the creation and performance of the show “Blymandag”. It was the precursor to Nydalen’s Thursday night.

Open about suicide
In 2011–2016, she performed her own performance Condolences, where she recounted the suicide of her mother and brother. The performance was nominated for a total of four awards during the 2012 Comedy Award.
In 2012, Furuseth received the Wenche Foss Honorary Award together with the Association “We who have a child too young.”
In 2016, she left TV 2 and started as a presenter on TVNorge. In the fall of 2018, she was the host of the documentary series “Else”, about suicide on TV Norway. For this series, she and the show won two awards during the 2019 Golden Route.
For the follow-up series “More About: Children”, which aired in 2019, he won the Golden Route 2020 in the class “Show Leader – Entertainment”.
Since 2016, Furuseth has also directed the radio show and podcast “The Kåss Furuseths” with his sister Cecilie Ramona Kåss Furuseth.
