Universities and colleges cancel exchanges outside Europe

The case is being updated.

The 17 universities and colleges, on the other hand, are open to exchanges with countries in Europe, according to a review by Khrono. NTNU is one of the universities on the list that cancels exchanges.

At Volda University College, no decision has yet been made, but according to Rector Johann Roppen, the same is happening there too. Nord University plans exchanges in study programs where this is a mandatory part of the study.

The Oslo Academy of Arts will not limit exchanges to European countries only, but will not allow exchanges to “red countries”. Nor do they want students from risk groups to travel on exchange.

Nord University has its own twist. This spring, they will carry out exchanges and exchanges in study programs where this is a mandatory part of the study.

– We do this to ensure the progression of the students’ study. All other non-mandatory exchanges and exchanges are being canceled due to the uncertainty the crown situation creates, writes Vice Chancellor for Education Levi Gårseth-Nesbakk in an email to Khrono.
