After days of gray weather and heaps of rainfall in some places, the autumn sun will shine again over southern Norway next week.

– It’ll be great, says duty meteorologist Kristian Gislefoss at the Dagbladet Meteorological Institute.

The good weather forecast continues until next weekend.

– Good weather

Westerners are the best.

– There will probably be at least clouds in western Norway, but also southern and eastern Norway will have beautiful weather, says Gislefoss.

Aside from the possibility of rain on the other end of the Sørlandet coast on Monday and Tuesday, it looks like it will be a dry and clear week across southern Norway.

– Otherwise, the weather is good to report. All things considered, I think it will be a very pleasant fall week in many places.

But it won’t be hot.

– It will be 10-12 degrees. The north wind means that it will not be as hot, and in the interior areas there will be a great possibility of night frost in some places.

Snow danger in the north

In northern Norway, October so far has featured unusually high temperatures, according to meteorologists. But this week it will change.

– From Trøndelag and the north it will be a bit more varied, with rains and rain showers. Trøndelag is likely to have a few days with slightly better weather, while further north there will unfortunately be plenty of days of gray weather, says Gislefoss.

In Finnmark, a snow advisory was issued from Monday night to Tuesday night. The forecast applies to outdoor areas of approximately 300 to 400 meters.

– It will be a fairly low snow limit, says Gislefoss.

At the same time, it warns of night frosts and difficult driving conditions on mountain passes.

Now comes the smooth liner: Excellent winter tires!

Now comes the smooth liner: Great winter tires!

– The temperatures will be so low that you will not be very high before the precipitation in the form of snow arrives, because I think there will not be too many degrees in Troms and Finnmark.

According to the meteorologist, it is possible that the snow that arrives a week will stay.
