Police believe the former sports profile has been violent towards his ex-wife and raped her on several occasions.
The two-page indictment, which has been issued against the former East Norwegian athlete, describes a series of felony charges against his ex-wife.
VG has been in contact with the practitioner’s former advocate. The lawyer says the client does not admit criminal guilt.
– Beyond that, I do not want to comment on the case, says the defender.
The conditions mentioned must have occurred while the two were still married and were in the period 2002 to 2018 in various places in the country, VG reports. This means that the circumstances mentioned in the accusation occurred while the practitioner was also active.
According to information from VG, the accusation is based on serious domestic violence, rape and threats.
