He proposes to use 36.3 billion for roads next year.

The state budget for 2021 is the government’s last chance to begin construction of the roads that they promised to build in the National Transportation Plan (PNT).

One of the big questions was whether the government would complete the highway, which is under construction on Rv 4 in Hadeland, an hour north of Oslo. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration demolished several dozen buildings to complete the road, but has not received a clear signal from the government.

And that’s exactly where the scandal ends, Transport Minister Knut Arild Hareide (KrF) chooses this afternoon to hold his press conference on the state budget, together with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.

This means that the highway between Gran and Lunner will be completed.

This despite the fact that Hareide has more than indicated that many will be disappointed with future transportation investments.

Spend many billions on new roads

It was before the state budget was presented that the railroad was going to be the big budget winner this year, but the roads will also receive significant sums of money.

According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, it will spend NOK 36.3 billion on roads and a total of NOK 80 billion on transportation.

This is a total increase of 8 percent.
