Uruguayan star player Cavani was confirmed last of the three.

Cavani hasn’t had a club since July, after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired at the end of June. Cavani scored 200 goals in 301 games for the French capital club.

– A great honor

On Monday night, Alex Telles (27) was ready for United.

The Brazilian left-back comes from Porto.

– Coming to a club as prestigious as Manchester United is a great honor. I promise I will do everything in my power to be successful here, Telles tells the club’s website.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær describes Telles as a player the club has followed for a long time and refers to Telles as “a winner.”

– He has the qualities we are looking for, both as a player and as a person, says Solskjær about the new signing.

United have previously brought in Dutch national team player Donny van de Beek (23) from Ajax.

He has followed great talents since 2016

While Cavani and Telles join United immediately, Amad Diallo will replace Atalanta with Manchester in January. United describe the 18-year-old from Ivory Coast as “one of the most exciting talents in Italian football.” The Solskjær club must have followed Diallo since 2016.

Diallo played three games with Atalanta last season. He scored in the Serie A debut for the club that played its way to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

The 18-year-old must still agree with United on his personal terms.

Smalling to Rome

It wasn’t just the players who walked through the gates of Old Trafford on Monday.

United also sold Chris Smalling (30) to Roma. The midfielder spent last season on loan at the Italian Serie A club. Now return to “The Eternal City” permanently.

It was Sir Alex Ferguson who at the time brought Smalling from Fulham. Since the 2010 transfer, the Englishman has played 323 games for the club. The only current United player with more games for the “red devils” than the midfielder is goalkeeper David de Gea.
