United took the lead, but with defensive losses and a red card, the outlook for the match changed completely.
MANCHESTER UNITED – TOTTENHAM 1-5 (THE MATCH STILL CONTINUES):
There is a total crisis for Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Manchester United during tonight’s clash against Tottenham. Red card to Anthony Martial and four setbacks was the final score for United at halftime.
The red devils were still going straight for the throat of Mourinho’s men, and before half a minute had elapsed, Martial was fouled inside the visiting team’s penalty area. Judge Anthony Taylor blew the whistle and when Fernandes lined up he was safe from the penalty spot.

Soon after, there was chaos in the opposite area, when Harry Maguire headed the ball into the head of fellow stopper Eric Bailly, before Maguire tried again to head off De Gea. In the end, the ball ended with Ndombele leveling for the visitors.
Already in the seventh minute of play came the third goal of the arrangement, and again it was Tottenham. Kane took a quick free kick and played through Son, who was safe with only De Gea, as he sent the ball sensitively over the Spaniard.

Just before half an hour passed, Martial had to see the red card after what was considered a blow to the face from Erik Lamela. The Argentine calmed down easily, but the VAR did not intervene and changed the decision.
– The way Erik Lamela fell is disgraceful. You can’t do that with your hands, but it was the way Lamela reacted that got Martial kicked out. Lamela can’t really be proud of it. It’s pathetic, said BBC reporter Ian Dennis after the expulsion.
TV 2 expert commentator Nils Johan Semb also reacted on how Erik Lamela went downhill.
– Yes, Martial got up with his hand, there is no doubt about that, but going down like Lamela did is also completely unnecessary, said Semb during the match.
And the pain worsened shortly after when United again blew it up in the back rows. The ball ended up in the hands of Kane, who easily increased the advantage of the guests.

Before the teams entered the break, Tottenham were back in front and once again Son was last on the ball. Aurier had plenty of time when he aimed at the South Korean inside the area, who from an oblique angle put the ball between the post and De Gea.
In the second half, it wasn’t long before the away team’s fifth goal was a done deal. The excellent attacking game ended with Højbjerg finding Aurier with a direct pass, and the Ivorian simply threw the ball into the far corner.
