PST confirms to TV 2 that the Norwegian citizen was sent on Saturday.

The Norwegian, who lives in Viken, was sentenced this summer to nine years in prison in an Italian court in Bolzano, for participating in a terrorist organization in the same case as Mullah Krekar in Italy.

According to Italian police, the 43-year-old had a central role in Mullah Krekar’s Rawti Shax terror network. According to the Bolzano verdict, the 43-year-old served for a period as deputy commander when Krekar was serving a sentence in Kongsvinger prison. He coordinated secret missions to acquire weapons to be used in operations in Europe.

The verdict describes the 43-year-old as “responsible for education.” He was the ideologue who was going to radicalize the members of the network. He translated, published and spread the Krekar message in Europe and Kurdistan.

Recently, in August, the Oslo District Court said no to extradition of the man, but the Borgarting Court of Appeal reversed this decision and determined that the man could still be extradited.

Najmuddin Faraj Ahmad (63), known as Mulla Krekar, was sentenced last year to twelve years in prison for terrorist planning. Krekar was transferred to prison in Italy in March this year.
